A luminaria or farolito is a small paper lantern (commonly a candle set in some sand inside a paper bag) which is of significance in New Mexico and some neighboring states at Christmas time, especially on Christmas Eve.

A ristra is an arrangement of drying chile pepper pods. Although their main purpose is to preserve chilis for later consumption, ristras are commonly used decoratively in chili-producing areas, especially New Mexico.

Each year I make ONE holiday tree - and make it very special :) Close to 400 prims, with handmade and placed ornaments, this year's tree, the Rustic Woodland Holiday Tree, took several weeks to create.

Full of carved wooden ornaments of animals and holiday symbols, pinecones and holly, carved wooden ornament balls, raffia garland and more.

This year I have added controllable particle twinkle lights, thanks to help from my partner Wolf.
